Quests are meant for all participants to have fun, bond with other quest members, work as a team to accomplish the goal, and
lastly for ALL participants to acquire a trophy. These guidelines were set up after over a year of experience both in leading
and participating in quests with this allegiance. These guidelines are in place during any quest and are superceded by the
CoCs. If any CoC is broken in or out of a quest, action may be taken accordingly.
These guidelines are assuming no CoC is being broken.
Pre-Quest Procedure:
1) Every one who wants to go should buff then log to another toon for briefing. The leader will brief everyone on the
quest before starting so no one feels lost or left out. Point out the important parts and any general instructions that are
particular to the quest. This briefing is very important so please pay attention and make sure you ask any questions you may
have at this time.
Leaders:
1)You will lead with patience and kindness. You are leading the quest because you know it, the others probably don’t,
they are looking to you for leadership. Your job is to know the quest, or have a printout or web page available for easy reference
so you can figure it out.
2)You will not yell, berate, or insult peeps on the quest. You will not abandon those on the quest. People are not to
be booted from quest during the quest, unless the bad behavior is extreme or inhibits the ability of the team to finish the
quest. After the quest is over the minor offenses will be dealt with.
3)Leader will be last person to get quest trophy and the last one out. The Monarch, when not leading, will be second to
last to leave. Please do not argue with this. If you are not leading get out when you are told to. This will save lives.
4)You should appoint a Point Person. This person should also have some knowledge of the quest or have a printout or web
page available. This is the person that everyone else will stay behind. This person is responsible for crowd control.
Other Team Members:
1)You will stay behind the point person at all times unless otherwise instructed.
2)You will follow instructions from the leader and the point person. This might save your life.
3)You will stay with the group. If you get separated from the group holler immediately.
4)You will communicate any problems, vague directions, misunderstood directions, etc. immediately to leader so they know
you do not understand what to do next.
5)When you have gotten the quest trophy, announce it to the group so they will know who has gotten it and who still needs
to get it.
Everyone:
1)No one will be left behind to not finish quest other than special circumstances. If there are deaths, or mistakes made,
everyone will wait or start over so that all are allowed to finish the quest.
2)If there are any deaths bodies will be recovered (if possible) before the quest is continued.
3)When the person behind you is at the edge of your radar, STOP. If everyone does this no one will be out of someones
sight at any given time.
4)If you go in the wrong port, door, hall, pit, etc, holler right away. The group will wait for you to get back if possible
and if needed every one will recall and start over. No one will be left to not finish quest.
Consequences to failing to follow these guidelines:<br>

1)Your name will be published on the boards along with a detailing of the guideline(s) that you failed to adhere to. Also,
a warning to quest with this leader at your own risk will be included in this posting.
2)Repeated offenses by a quest leader will result in his/her not being sanctioned by the allegiance to lead quests for
a period of one month. This will
also be posted and failing to adhere to this ban will be considered gross insubordination and will result in an official
warning.

People will be encouraged to read this thread of posts before planning any quest. Remember, quests are supposed to be
fun and are supposed to result in a trophy. It is no fun to die repeatedly or end up empty handed at the end of a
quest. These guidelines were set up to help maintain the fun atmosphere and team effort qualities of quests.
